His final day of service was Friday, September 26. Jon started with the NTPA in an official capacity in summer 2006, attending select events and uploading their results to NTPAPULL.com. At first these appeared immediately after the event, but soon he built the architecture to post live from the announcer tower. Over the course of his 11 years full-time with the Association, Jon designed and contributed to The Puller magazine, the Pull! program, and The Championship Puller yearbook. He created and maintained the NTPA’s current membership and competition databases and coded and populated the event registration workbooks used by NTPA entry clerks as well as the schedule, results, and standings webpages, ultimately developing the method to port the first two to the mobile app. He also wrote the NTPA’s press releases, champion and Pulling Hall-of-Fame profiles, and obituaries that have appeared on NTPAPULL.com. We wish Jon well in his future endeavors.
