The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) and McGill DevTech have launched the first edition of the NTPA App for mobile devices, available on Google Play and Apple App stores. Users can search for "NTPA" to find the app, which features the NTPA shield icon. The app includes the complete NTPA-sanctioned event schedule, which can be filtered by circuit and division. Clicking on an event calls forth session start time and location information and will ultimately include details such as ticket prices and camping availability once these are submitted. In turn, clicking on each session leads to a list of classes as buttons that will display lineups (when and where available) and results (in real time where available). The NTPA’s official website, NTPApull.com, will also publish this information but on separate Schedule, Lineup, and Results pages. According to Ned Walliser, WPI Executive Board President, the app was developed in response to mobile users' requests for a more screen-friendly and navigable option. Walliser envisions the app's mission expanding with more features in the future, thanking McGill DevTech and the NTPA App Team for their efforts in launching the app for the 2025 season. DEADLINES AND INSTRUCTIONS Five Region II Divisions Split for Championships in 2025 The National Tractor Pullers Association’s Region II, which includes events in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, will divide five of its 15 divisions into geographic subregions. Hot Farm Tractors and S&S Diesel Motorsport Pro Stock Diesel 4×4 3.0 Trucks will each have Northwestern and Southeastern championships for which to run. THe Eastern and Western Light Pro circuits will include nine and 13 hooks, respectively, while Mod numbers are nine East and 11 West. Finally, the Region II Two-Wheel-Drive Trucks’ 22 hooks will be categorized as Northern and Southern with the line cutting across the western peak of Ohio. Ten events will lie above this line, while 12 will lie below. The complete Region II Hot Farm, Light Pro Stock, Two Wheel Drive, S&S Diesel Pro Stock Diesel 4×4 3.0, and Modified circuits appear below and on the Standings page at NTPAPULL.com. FULL DETAILS Regional National Class Purses Raised Across-the-Board in 2025 The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) has increased the purse payout schedules for Regional National and Pro National competitors for the 2025 season, marking the first hike since 2018. When compared with 2024’s totals, Pro National and Regional National A purse schedules typically increased between $250 and $500 per class with an additional $30 to $80 to win. Regional National B purse schedules increased $250 in each class with an additional $25 to $50 to win. Gregg Randall, the NTPA’s Executive Director, stated that the increase was necessary due to rising maintenance and travel costs. The NTPA aims to support their grassroots pullers and improve compensation at both the Regional and Grand National levels. The 2025 NTPA Pulling Rules outline the guaranteed payback for competitors at NTPA-sanctioned events. Purses are paid by event promoters, who can also offer bonus money. Payments are typically made via Direct Deposit or checks from the NTPA office, with unclaimed amounts returned to the promoter.
